Over the weekend, one of my favourite celebrity couple tied the knot. Although I didn't get an invite, I made do with instagram and blogs for all the pictures and gist. Tolu and Tunde Demurun's love story is particularly beautiful to me as I see two people not concerned with people's opinion. Let me confess even I raised my brows when the gist of their relationship first hit the amebo zone for obvious reasons .
I must admit my love for Toolz is astronomical . Just check it, Toolz embodies the new African woman; a woman not concerned with society and its blasted deadlines for matrimony. That is the woman I wish I can be!
Any how sha, although I'm not in their closet, I strongly believe love just flows naturally with this two primarily because they know what they want from each other. Their relationship no doubt got me thinking and these thoughts have birthed the Let's Rub Minds series.
Undoubtedly, everyone wants to love and feel loved. Very often we get into relationships with that at the back of our minds.Whilst in search of our Mr Right / Miss Right , we unfortunately make some wrong decisions that signal the end of the love story before it even begins and sometimes long after it has started. These decisions often bring regrets, pain and humiliation. If you have experienced what's termed heartbreak , you might find it humiliating to share your experience with a third party. Ever imagined that your experience just might be what another person needs to push him/ her out of a similar situation ? Perhaps, you have been meaning to share but don't know how to go about it because you would rather not face the pity party faces?
Let's Rub Minds series wants to share your experience. Basically, I intend to share these experiences from anonymous writers with the sole aim of teaching indelible lessons. I'd love to do this with you guys so If you have a heartbreaking experience with the opposite sex , send me a mail : preshienwogu@gmail.com. Once again, happy new month!
